While new technology and solutions can help CXOs make faster and better decisions for an organization, nothing will take the place of a highly talented workforce. CXOs need to be great recruiters of talent but even more importantly grow the skills and capabilities of their teams while providing engaging and challenging opportunities. Culture is what defines the work environment, its mission, ethics, expectations and goals. Right now, in a world with opinions that are constantly moving and changing and with such high visibility, it is important that companies highlight difference and cherish it, because it drives innovation. Yet the tech industry still struggles with diversity and inclusion. As in any transformation effort, brand and culture are intimately connected.
